On 11/8/70, there's a great moment when the band members attempt to trade solos in Good Lovin'.

Did this happen on any other dates besides this one? Or was it a purely impromptu thing, never happening before or after?

They did that regularly in late 1970. For another instance at random, try 9/18/70. Phil would also often take a bass solo in Good Lovin' - for instance, in 10/17/70. I think they stopped doing this once Pigpen started doing his raps (11/29/70 was the first one of those).

Actually--if you're talking about the intro/reintro to the vocals, it was pretty common.
